Overall I this works pretty well, I use the component input and the video quality is great, I play the videos back on my PS3 with no problem (I use TVersity as a media server). I do not use the scheduler, I just record them on the my cable box DVR and then play them back into the PVR.This is partly necessary because of problems with occasional crashes or video capture errors, so if that happens, I can just try again a normally lose any video. I think these issues are mostly related to software/drivers and I haven't tried to re-install them yet so that may help.In general, it does what I need to do, and were quite happy (I would be very happy if the problems were solved roar)..
